"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus"
-Philippians 4:6-7
Sometimes it may seem a little selfish or silly to pray for your future spouse, but God has in fact instructed us to pray about anything and EVERYTHING-especially the man (though he may only be a boy right now) you will someday marry. This man will lead and guide you and ultimately be responsible and held accountable for you and your family so it is imperative that you begin to pray for him now.
I wanted to start this project or campaign as you could call it to encourage girls everywhere to fervently be in prayer to our Almighty King for their future spouses (or prince). It is never too early to pray for them and it certainly isn't too early to make a commitment to remain pure for them. Our society tells us the opposite and screams "date around" or "do what feels good". Our Bible however tells us to be different-set apart (Romans 12:2). It may not be normal based on societies standards to pray for your future husband and to save yourself for him, but it is God's instruction and absolute best.
God created you in His image-beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14). Guard your hearts and save them for a man who is doing the same for you. My prayer is that this page, these letters, and images will inspire you to set a new standard...to see your true beauty and that you are worth waiting for and worth marrying a true prince that you have long prayed for. Wouldn't it be amazing to look your husband in the eyes on your wedding day and boldly say without a shadow of a doubt,
"You are who I have been praying for. I have waited my whole life for you and only you. You get the very best of me and I have been praying to God that I get the very best of you-forever and ever.
You are my Prince, sent by my King"
I want to dedicate this page to my three little prince's. I pray their princesses are in prayer for them just as I prayed for their father.
God does answer prayers!
